Manchester City FC have been confirmed as participants of the Australian leg of the third annual International Champions Cup (ICC).
They will join Real Madrid and A.S. Roma in Melbourne, with three games scheduled between July 18-24.
The tournament will open with Real Madrid taking on Roma at 7pm on Saturday 18 July 2015, with Roma then facing Manchester City at 7.45pm on Tuesday 21 July.
The tournament concludes on Friday 24 July with a clash between Real Madrid and Manchester City, also at 7.45pm.
Manchester City chief executive Ferran Soriano said the club was looking forward to visiting sister club Melbourne City.
“We are looking forward, once again, to being a part of the tournament,’’ Soriano said.
“We are particularly excited to be visiting Melbourne, which is home to our sister Club, Melbourne City FC.
“We know that it will also be a home away from home for Manchester City and we can’t wait to play in front of our Australian fans.”
